Is there a minimum crypto deposit?

For the majority of cryptocurrencies, we support on our platform, there’s no minimum deposit amount. You can receive or transfer as little or as much as you’d like.

However, there is a minimum required amount for bitcoin deposits on your Palremit wallet.

For Bitcoin ($BTC):

The minimum deposit is 0.0001 BTC; equivalent to $6.64 (₦11, 030) as of July 31, 2024, 14. 45 GMT.

If you send or deposit $BTC less than this value into your Palremit account, your funds might either (a) not be deposited into your account, or (b) you might not be able to send funds lower than 0.0001 BTC afterwards.

It’s crucial to remember this so you’re not disappointed when you need to make transactions. You cannot transfer a bitcoin value of less than 0.0001 BTC on Palremit.

While we understand that this might not be ideal for all our users, this minimum deposit requirement for Bitcoin helps us maintain transaction efficiency and ensures that all deposits can be properly processed on the blockchain.

Why is this important?

If you deposit less than 0.0001 BTC, you risk losing those funds entirely or not being able to make $BTC transfers lower than that amount. 

A friendly tip:

• Always double-check the amount before making a Bitcoin deposit. It’s better to deposit a little more than the minimum rather than risk falling short.

For other cryptocurrencies:

While there is no set minimum for other cryptos, it’s always wise to consider transaction fees, little deposits might not be cost-effective due to network fees.
