KYC verification on Palremit

KYC means Know Your Customer; after successfully creating your Palremit account and verifying your email, you must complete your KYC Verification.

Before you can make a transaction on Palremit, or get your virtual bank account, it is expected that you must have completed your KYC to checkmate fraud and validity.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing your verification below:

Step 1

On your account dashboard, select KYC to begin your verification process.

Step 2

You are required to enter/upload the following :

  • Your Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • A selfie photo of you, preferably in a well-lit environment. ????

Once you have completed the process, we will begin processing your verification.

Your document will be reviewed and you will receive a successful mail once verified. Please note that documents are usually reviewed within a few minutes to 24hrs.

Once your document is verified, you can check your virtual bank account details when you click on Deposit on your app dashboard. Fund your Palremit account with that detail, or receive supported currencies through your account.

Guidelines for completing your KYC verification

  • Your Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • A selfie photo of you taken from your smartphone and uploaded on Palremit

Please note that depending on our regulator’s directive, the requirements or processes to complete your KYC may change. Once it does, we will inform you through all our communication channels.

Why did my verification fail?

  • Name Mismatch: Ensure to sign up with your legal name as it appears on your BVN and other documents.
  • Under age: Palremit offers financial services; which means that you must be above 18 to use our services. Do not use someone else’s document.
  • Having multiple accounts can cause your verification to fail. Always remember your email account and avoid deleting and creating multiple accounts.
