What do you need to set up an account on Palremit?
To set up a Palremit account, you need to:
- Create an account by downloading the Palremit mobile app on Android. Provide your email address, preferred password, and other required information.
Please note that while we do not have a live app available on iPhone, we are currently running our beta app version for all iOS users to try out, and leave reviews that will help us improve your experience. If you are an iOS user, please create a TestFlight account and follow the instructions here.
- The next step is the completion of the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process. Provide a selfie photo and your Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Then fund your Palremit account by depositing local currency, which you can then convert to other supported currencies like USD or cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), Solana ($SOL), or Tether ($USDT).
- Set up your unique Palremit ID, which is your username that others can use to send you money via the peer-to-peer (P2P) feature.
Once your account is created and verified, you can start using Palremit’s services to send and receive payments, swap currencies, and make purchases using your Palremit multi-currency wallet.
